Stainless Steel Filter

Stainless steel filters consist of a shell, multiple filter elements, a backwashing mechanism, and a differential pressure controller. The internal cavity of the stainless steel filter shell is divided into upper and lower chambers by a horizontal partition. The upper chamber is equipped with multiple filter elements, making full use of the filtration space and significantly reducing the filter's volume. The lower chamber contains a backwashing suction cup. During operation, the turbid liquid enters the lower chamber of the filter through the inlet, then passes through the partition holes into the inner cavity of the filter elements. Impurities larger than the gaps of the filter elements are trapped, while the clean liquid passes through the gaps to the upper chamber and is then discharged through the outlet.

During operation, the water to be filtered enters through the inlet, flows through the filter screen, and passes through the outlet into the required pipeline for process circulation. Particulate impurities in the water are trapped inside the filter screen. As this cycle continues, more and more particles are trapped, slowing down the filtration rate. However, the incoming wastewater continues to flow in, causing the filter pores to become increasingly smaller. This creates a pressure difference between the inlet and outlet. When the pressure difference reaches the set value, the differential pressure transmitter sends an electrical signal to the controller, which then activates the drive motor. The drive motor, through transmission components, rotates the shaft while the drain outlet opens to discharge the impurities. After the filter screen is cleaned, the pressure difference drops to a low value, and the system returns to its initial filtration state, operating normally.

Working Principle

1. The filtration equipment uses advanced internal mechanical structures to achieve true high-pressure backwashing functionality, easily removing impurities trapped by the filter screen. The flow rate remains undiminished, ensuring filtration efficiency and a long service life.

2. Stainless steel filters use 304 or 316L stainless steel wedge-shaped filter screens, which are strong, highly precise, and corrosion-resistant, with a filtration precision of up to 25 microns.

3. Stainless steel filters achieve automatic backwashing through their own detection and response functions, capable of handling unstable water quality fluctuations without manual intervention.

4. Stainless steel filters have few vulnerable parts, no consumables, low operating and maintenance costs, and simple operation and management.

5. Stainless steel filters operate precisely, allowing flexible adjustment of backwashing pressure difference time and set values based on different water sources and filtration precision requirements.

6. During the backwashing process, each (group) of filter screens is backwashed sequentially, ensuring safe and efficient cleaning of the filter screens while other screens continue filtering unaffected.

7. Stainless steel filters use pneumatic drain valves, resulting in short backwashing duration and low water consumption, making them environmentally friendly and economical.

8. Stainless steel filters feature a compact and rational structural design, small footprint, and flexible, convenient installation and mobility.
